recent programs

Our organization takes its members success very seriously. Our scholarship programs, GPA requirements, and study hours help ensure brothers will succeed and uphold the standards and values of an SAE.

VOLUNTEERING

Every semester, our members complete volunteer hours on campus and around DFW to give back to the community . Some of these foundations we work with include the North Texas Food Bank, Adopt-a-Highway, and the Comet Cupboard.

mission & vision

The mission of Sigma Alpha Epsilon is to promote the highest standards of friendship, scholarship, and service for our members based upon the ideals set forth by our Founders and as specifically enunciated in our creed, "The True Gentleman."

Meet our Executive Board - Texas Chi

The Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraternity was founded on March 9th, 1856 at the University of Alabama Tuscaloosa. Since that day almost 150 years ago, more than 260,000 gentlemen have taken up the ΣAE mission to promote the highest standards of friendship, scholarship, and service to their fellow members. Based upon the ideals set forth by the Founders and as specifically enunciated in the SAE creed, these ideals are preserved by the more than 8,200 undergraduates currently spread across some 200 chapters within the US and Canada. ΣAE is North America’s largest social fraternity.

Sigma Alpha Epsilon reached a historic milestone on March 9, 2014, with the elimination of pledging and the membership classification of pledges. Instead, we have implemented a holistic education known as the True Gentleman Experience. It provides education throughout a member's collegiate tenure and fosters both personal and professional development. We are the first large national fraternity to eliminate pledging for all of our chapters.
